TRUE LIFE STORY:

How I finally got married to my Pilot Husband after going through the Heartbreak and Trauma of a Fake Wedding arranged by my Pastor and a Brother.

I will never forget the day I almost died of depression when I was told that my wedding to Bro. Ade was fake and was arranged just for him to sleep with me.

My name is Sarah. I’m Married, I was a Front Desk HR Staff working with a bank until few years ago when I was retrenched due to non-punctuality. 

I was a well comfortable working class lady who is very committed to her banking job and I equally participated fully in my church activities as I was one of the ushers.

From my university days till when I started work as a banker, I had never been into any serious relationship. Not because I don’t want to but because most men I came across always wanted to sleep with me and move on but I never gave them that chance once I discover that the person have ulterior motive.

My mother was always on my case to marry, every call had to end with when are you bringing a man home, in church they were always calling alter call for those that want husband to come and sow seed, I will  always come out and drop my seed, and pastor will rub me with anointing oil and bless me...

I was not wayward, I believed that the matrimonial bed must be undefiled, so all the men that are asking me out I made sure they are ready to wait till our wedding night and virtually all of them never agreed with my condition.

I’m very beautiful with curves like that of Kim kardashian, and fair to look upon.

Nobody would believe I was a virgin!!! a virgin at 30, in Lagos Island!!! a banker!!!

But that was a fact!

I am a cool headed lady, I’m not too demanding because I am very comfortable with my earnings as a Banker. All I wanted was just true love.

One fateful Sunday in February 2013, I met Bro. Ade in church, after the day’s service he walked up to me to introduce himself and told me how much he had desired to have a relationship with me.

In our subsequent date, he told me that he is divorced, that he married a wicked woman and suffered for years.

I inquired further and demanded that he show me a true copy of their divorce certificate and other evidence and Bro. Ade told me to give him one week to bring them, that it’s at his house in Abuja.

After one week, he actually brought them as he promised but I told him to give me time to pray over it and when I told my Pastor about it he told me that he (Bro. Ade) is an answer to my long time prayers and seed offering. (Unknown to me that Bro. Ade had already met our Pastor and gave him money to encourage me to marry him).

I later agreed to marry Bro. Ade after dating him for 5 months.

He visited our family home in Lagos with his friends for my marriage introduction as he had told me that his parents were dead, He fulfilled all the necessary traditional marriage rites and we also did a low-key Church wedding based on his suggestion, and I moved in with him, all these were done within a space of 3 months after our engagement.

 It was like a miracle, it has to be a miracle!!!

On the night after our wedding day, Bro. Ade couldn’t believe his eyes as he found out I was still a virgin at 30, he told me that he didn’t believe me when I told him that initially when we were dating.

Exactly 9 months after our wedding, we had our first child that was in May, 2014, the dedication was low key, infact it was done on Wednesday service, I didn't care much, as long as I was concerned on being a submissive wife and do what my hubby wants.

5 months after the birth of the first child I took in again, and my colleagues at the office told me to abort the child, that I may lose my job.

well... I didn't care about the job, all I cared most was making my hubby happy, and keeping the family good hence, I decided to keep the baby as abortion is against my faith.

After the birth of our second child, a beautiful baby girl, everything changed,

Bro. Ade (my husband) started beating me at every slight provocation; he will travel and disappear for weeks, and show up any time he pleases. He even changed his number so I can't reach him whenever he travels.

I started asking questions when my husband changed his character and one of his friend Kola who already had a fall out with him opened the can of worm that looks like a Nollywood movie to me.

He told me that the divorce papers Bro. Ade showed to me in other to get me to marry him was from "Oluwole", for those who don't know what that means, it means the papers are fake, he said that Bro. Ade is still legally married to his first wife, like very married...

His friend told me the whole gist on how Ade is a serial womanizer, and he could do anything to get any woman, absolutely anything including killing his own mother..., by the way, Bro. Ade's father and mother is still very much alive and they even live in Lagos but Ade told me they are dead.

Kola also told me that Bro. Ade is still very much in touch with the other wife and there was no divorce whatsoever, he told me amidst tears that the same way he has changed number on me, was how he changed number on the other wife, he told me I had been living a Lie that the wedding was fake.

He told me that Bro. Ade paid our pastor to help him get me (Some so called men of God won’t make heaven)

My love, Family, Life, marriage was just a dream I needed to wake up from, at this point I opened up and told his friend that I had just been sacked from my banking job, due to the fact that I had been unstable for over two months since I had my second child due to what I was going through and I had missed work so much and so they served me a sack letter.

I had lost everything, my happiness, my life, my job, my virginity just because of a sham marriage. Little things now trigger me to tears, me that was once a classy strong working class boss lady has been reduced to a jobless mother of two with no man as Bro. Ade has finally disappeared maybe to another city looking for a fresh target.

I lost my Job and Lost my Marriage same time.

Now I have to file for a divorce.

For 2 years of my life, I married a man whom I loved so much but he later turned out to be my greatest undoing in life.

Then I had trouble sleeping. I'd go to bed and I would just lie down there for 20 mins, 30 mins. Then I would start watching the clock. 12.03...12.04...12.21

From that 2015 when this happened till 2018 life was hellish as I was struggling to feed myself and my two kids with no help coming from any quarter. Though I had engaged in several businesses to ensure I keep up but it wasn’t easy.

These happenings initially made me to detest men but when I overcame my situation after 3 years of the incident, I decided to take another shot at relationship but this time, it seems no man will want to marry a single mother of two but I never relented in my prayers.

One fateful day in June, 2018 my friend Sandra tagged me to a post in Single to Married Face Book page, when I finished reading the post which was about the testimony of an eBook on “How To Attract The Perfect Husband”.

Today We Are Really Happy in our Lives. I already have son for him. Chike doesn’t eat when I’m not around. He is a caring man and above all Chike has made me forget the suffering that Bro. Ade inflicted in my heart those days.
